Tohatsu Marine offers two varieties of 3.5
hp motors; the 3.5A which features a forward-only
gear, and for those that prefer a forward-neutral
gearshift, the 3.5B was made for you. At just
under 39 lbs. these engines are light enough
to carry and powerful enough to propel your
sailboat or dinghy where you need to go. The
3.5Bs forward-neutral gearshift makes maneuvering
in to tight-fitting dock slips a breeze.
Both models feature a built-in 1.4 liter (.37
U.S.gallon) fuel tank, 360-degree steering,
a carrying handle for ease of portability, safety
lanyard cutoff switch (an important safety feature
found on all Tohatsu outboards), and of course
Tohatsus 2 year limited warranty.
